These terms govern use of this website and set out the general basis on which we provide services. Every engagement is also covered by a signed statement of work, which takes precedence wherever the two differ.
Engagements and scope
Work is delivered in agreed increments against a written statement of work that records scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees. Changes to scope are handled through a written change process, priced before they are actioned. We will not quietly absorb scope or quietly bill for it.
Fees and payment
Discovery is invoiced on completion. Delivery is invoiced per increment or monthly, as recorded in the statement of work. Invoices are payable within 14 days. Where a project is paused at the client's request, work already delivered remains payable.
Intellectual property
On final payment, all source code, infrastructure definitions, designs, and documentation produced specifically for you are assigned to you outright. We retain rights to our pre-existing tooling, internal libraries, and general know-how, and grant you a perpetual licence to use them as embedded in your deliverables.
Confidentiality
We treat your systems, data, and commercial information as confidential and will sign your NDA. Our access to your environments is least-privilege, time-bound, and revoked at handover. We will not name you as a client or publish a case study without your written approval.
Warranties and limits
We warrant that services are performed with reasonable skill and care by suitably experienced practitioners, and that delivered software materially conforms to the agreed specification. Defects reported within 30 days of an increment's acceptance are corrected at no charge.
Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability under an engagement is limited to the fees paid under it, except where the law does not permit that limitation.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
